Another terrific fishing day
Fishing Report: 04/21/2026
Had a great day on the Surfrider with all passengers getting there rockfish and Lingcod limit or very close to it. The picture shows a really fat Lingcod which bit one of our hooks today. The weather sounds like it's gonna be a bit unsettled for the next two days and then we will be back after it on Friday. After that the ocean weather looks really good for a pretty good spell of time.
Season Info:
*Daily bag limit 4 fish per angler
*Yelloweye and Quillback rockfish prohibited at all times in all waters
*Canary daily sub-bag rockfish of 2 fish per angler
*Fishing open all depths year around
*Cabezon prohibited until 1 fish sub bag limit beginning July 1st-minimum length 16 inches- Lingcod bag limit 3 fish per angler minimum length 22 inches
*Flatfish bag limit 25 fish per angler
*Longleader fishing offshore outside 40 fathom regulators line-10 fish per angler-some specie restrictions do apply on this fishery do exist so check all ODFW regulations for this fishery.

Ling and rockfish bite really good

The rockfish bite was insane with fish all over the ocean finning on top of the water. Had good Lingcod fishing as well with the Surfrider landing 68 Lingcod just on his own boat and really good on the other boats as well. Good day and nice ocean. There are some spots available for tomorrow so give our office a call to reserve spots on the boats on a forecasted beautiful ocean.

Really good rockfish bite today
Fishing Report: 04/17/2026
The fishing was really good this morning on a nice ocean. The rockfish bite was red hot with the Lingcod bite a little slower than what it has been. The boats out this morning came home between 5-20 Lingcod per vessel. The crabbing was about the same with 3-6 per person.
